PNG Grant Programs – Giving Back to the Community

PNG is happy to announce that we would like to support senior service organizations as well as senior citizens that are located within Plymouth County! The PNG understands that funding provided to senior service organizations is limited or non-existent making it very hard to support program participants. We also realize that because of limited funding options, it can be very difficult to support individuals in the community overcome hard times or emergency situations. In response to this, the PNG has formed a “PNG Grants Committee”. This Committee has created a process to distribute funds that are raised by certain PNG fundraisers to support the community at large.

A senior service organization can simply fill out a relevant application and submit it per the directions on the application. All applications are reviewed on a monthly basis by the Committee. ALL applications will a receive a written response notifying them as to whether or not their request is approved or denied. Eligibility and application information can be accessed below!

We have money to spend and the process is simple!! A senior service organization can simply fill out a relevant application and submit it per the directions on the application. All applications are reviewed on a monthly basis by the Committee. ALL applications will receive a written response notifying them as to whether or not their request is approved or denied. Eligibility and application information can be accessed via our website at: http://www.pngplymouthnetworking.com/grants/

All applicants must be located within Plymouth County and the request must support a one-time only need (funds are not available to support ongoing needs). All applications will be reviewed on a first come first serve basis and all incomplete applications will be returned.

The PNG has helped people pay overdue utility bills, fuel assistance, the purchase of a new refrigerator, respite expenses, the cost of insurance and other medical supplies, and many other things! We have also supported events that are hosted at local Council on Aging’s as well as other necessary supplies. Our goal is to support the community and older adults and we try to accommodate as many needs as possible. If you have any questions, please call Kerry Zingaro at (508) 584-1561, extension 437.
